Our Teaching Curriculum


Our teaching curriculum is designed with a two-year cycle in mind. This is to ensure that the mastery of the requisite language skills for each stage of the child’s learning is achieved in a formative and progressive manner.


Students are welcome to join the lessons at any level, keeping in mind that the building of language skills is a continuous process. The main objective is to hone and develop a keen sensitivity to the language.

Primary 1 and 2 - Foundational skills I


Grammar, vocabulary, simple comprehension, some elements of creative writing and expression, speaking and listening.

Primary 3 and 4 - Foundational skills II


Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and basic inference skills, some elements of creative writing and expression, speaking and listening.

Primary 5 and 6 - Intermediate skills I


Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and inference skills, creative writing and expression, basic critical reading and writing skills, speaking and listening.

Secondary 1 and 2 - Intermediate skills II


Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and inference skills, some elements of critical reading and writing skills, creative writing and expression, speaking and listening.

Secondary 3 and 4 - Advanced skills I


Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, inference & interpretative skills, critical reading and writing skills, creative writing and expression, speaking and listening.

JC 1 and JC 2 - Advanced skills II


Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, inference & interpretative skills, critical reading and writing skills, individual voice and expression, speaking and listening.

Dynamic learning & use of the English language


We focus on developing communication skills in a holistic fashion - listening, reading, speaking, writing.

Carefully constructed lessons



Lessons are designed and conducted by an ex-MOE teacher who specialises in English Language & Linguistics.

Small class size




A maximum of 6 students are allocated per class for an optimum exchange of ideas and a more in-depth focus on the lesson material.

1-to-1 Class




This option allows for a more customised learning pace and a more direct teaching structure.
